St. Stephen, and Ste. Anne parishes sponsor a joint Thanksgiving and Christmas program from September to December. The names of the persons/families who will be recipients of the the food and the gifts are collected in September/October. The information is entered into an excel spreadsheet for further processing.
The assigning of individuals to "adopting" churches and individuals is done from this listing.
These volunteers are needed:
*organizers
*typists
*sorters of gifts
*gift wrappers
*shoppers for gifts
*make phone calls to pick up food or gifts (Spanish and English)
*'adopt' a needy family for Christmas gifts
*donate lunch for the volunteers

Volunteers need good people skills, be able to give attention to details.
A volunteer coordinator for this project is needed as well as typists, sorters, organizers, shoppers, fund-raisers etc.
Many volunteers are needed for a variety of tasks. Call if you are interested.
