STARS- Students Trained for Achievement, Responsibility, and Success are looking for highly motivated individuals to help under served children with basic Math, Reading, and Analytical skill development. There are two types of tutoring:
- Homework help-(this does not involve a huge commitment. Volunteers can get a feel for tutoring by interacting with children at a local family shelter. We help them with their homework from grades k-8)
- STARS program-(this requires an 8-week commitment in which our own curriculum (Math, Reading, and Analytical skills) will be implemented to specific students)
