Assist families facing housing emergencies obtain financial and emotional support and access to resources. Crisis Counselors assist with eviction prevention, finding emergency shelter, affordable housing, obtaining prescription drugs,utility aid and lend an empathic
ear.
NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY, but volunteers must be open-minded, nonjudgmental, able to handle multiple tasks at a time and willing to work with diverse persons. There is a 35 hour training offered 4 times
a year.
