The primary reponsibilities would be: Anwering the AIDS Hotline/Client Services calls while providing clear and accurate information/referrals with an attentive voice, Consistently maintaining AIDS Partnership Michigan's philosophy of serving which includes respecting confidentiality within the agency and outside, Securing the confidence of each caller by emphasizing the caller's anonymity, and Upholding the integrity of the AIDS Hotline by regularly updating resources.
AIDS Partnership Michigan is willing to accept someone who may consider themselves to be unaware of HIV/AIDS issues as long as that person is willing to learn basic facts about HIV transmission, prevention, and referrals so that we may maintain the integrity of the hotline. Respect the diversity of the environment, Pleasant phone manner, Neat appearance, Ability to handle multiple tasks.
