Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Last updated on November 21, 2009

We are looking for a volunteer, to assist our artists and the art director during our sessions. This is a once a week commitment of approximately 2 1/2 hrs. We have one or two week breaks between sessions. Some of our artists have difficulty seeing, reaching, hearing, or with decision making. Our focus is on abilities. It is great to be a part of a growing creative community and we're enjoying our new studio space in downtown Rochester. We have day and evening sessions.

Volunteers should be 18 or older. Art experience is necessary
An interest in working with people with disabilities and an ability to relate positively to people is a prerequisite. If you love art and love people this is for you. Our teachers are often hired from our volunteer pool. You are given guidelines and will be trained at the studio.
