Volunteers Needed To Set-up And Serve School Breakfast And Lunch In Macomb County
Volunteers are needed to support the school breakfast and lunch programs at Kennedy Elementary School in the Van Dyke School District in Macomb County. Volunteers are needed to support the school breakfast and lunch programs at Kennedy Elementary School in Macomb County. Breakfast shift is from 7:30 a.m. until 8:15 a.m. The lunch program shift is from 11:50 a.m. until 1:15 p.m. Volunteer responsibilities include: Set-up tables Monitor breakfast and lunch lines Opening food packages to be served to students Pick-up and wash tables after breakfast and lunch Your support through volunteerism will ensure that students in these schools will have access to healthy, nutritious breakfast and lunch that they would otherwise go without.

Volunteer Income Tax Assistance - Make A Difference In The Lives Of Low-Income Families!
We need volunteers to prepare taxes for low-moderate income individuals and families throughout southeastern Michigan. It is only with the help of our volunteers that we can make our Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) sites successful. We ask that all potential volunteers can commit their time from January - April(the tax season), approximately four hours a week. Free training will be provided. The only qualifications that we require of our volunteers is a willingness to help! Previous tax knowledge is helpful, but is not required. Also basic computer knowledge is a plus. This is an excellent opportunity for college students, retirees, and people like you working towards the common good! If you belong to any kind of social organization this would be a wonderful opportunity to volunteer as a group!
