The Leadership Detroit Education Support Committee (LDesc.org) invites you to attend the "Detroit Schools Quality Education Best Practices Summit: STOP! Your Future Depends On Me!"
The three goals of the Summit are to:
- Assist educators in duplicating best practices at work in Detroit's high-performing schools.
- Engage a wide range of business and community leaders committed to building partnerships that increase the number of quality education options for Detroit children and teens.
- Foster an Informed Parental Constituency based upon proven indicators of quality education.
Despite the challenges associated with educating children from various socioeconomic backgrounds, a number of schools in Detroit are achieving academic excellence. Some of them are Detroit Public Schools, while others are private and parochial schools located within the City. Collectively, these schools are proving that It Can Be Done!
I hope you are able to join us and if you are unable to join us, a representative from your organization is welcome to attend and bring a guest.
Please share this information with anyone who cares about quality education for young people in the City of Detroit. This is a free event and open to the public.
