Our mission is to welcome newcomers who have just recently moved to Las Cruces or have moved to a new neighborhood within Las Cruces. We welcome them with community information, local publications as well as our Referral Guide which is full of wonderful health care providors and local businesses who we have screened and selected for referral to the newcomers!

Las Cruces Newcomers Connection hosts quarterly luncheons specifically for newcomers. However, everyone is invited. We play a "get to know your neighbor" game, give away lots of door prizes and always hear from amazing speakers to inform the newcomers of local events and fun things to do in town. We would love to have a volunteer help us with these luncheons!

Never Better Strategic Networking

Las Cruces Newcomers Connection also hosts Speed Networking Events. This is an event based on the idea of "Speed Dating." Attendees move from contact to the next in a set patter. This event is extremely effective in that it insures that each attendee will meet with 100% of the other attendees! Volunteers to help run these events would be great as well!

Las Cruces Newcomers Connection is a family business. It was established by Faith Motyl in 2003. Faith's son, Joel Motyl came on board in 2005 and has taken the lead role in the company. Faith has sinse retired and is currently living in Las Cruces, NM.
