To empower women in making informed decisions regarding their health and quality of life by providing resources, education and support.
Description:
The center is located on the fourth floor of MountainView Medical Plaza, 4351 E. Lohman Ave., Suite 404. Along with free educational meetings, support groups and health screenings, the Center provides Internet access to research health information, a browsing library with books, videos and CD's, a resource room with a large variety of information ranging from diabetes to menopause and a Women's Resource Center specialist to help with any questions. Free classes have been on topics such as investing, nutrition, diabetes recipes, advance directives, self-defense and long-term care among others.
