Our volunteer foster parents provide care at home for very young animals and/or adult animals recovering from illness or injury. A separate application is required, as is a meeting with the faster care coordinator. I'm active in the Renaissance Faire Royal Court and Las Cruces Singles as well as various other organizations. Years ago, some friends and I did a garage sale fundraiser for the shelter and I shall do another one through Las Cruces Singles in the next few months. I've been putting off doing another because I'm so busy but the puppies and dogs really touch my heart every time that I'm out to the shelter. It's time to help get the word out about all the great animals out there looking for good homes.
