A training project to help stop assault and violence against individuals with developmental disabilities. Training law enforcement personnel and prosecutors can help them recognize, address, investigate and prosecute the rate of successful conviction of perpetrators of this violence. Training will help law enforcement personnel to understand the unique challenges of evidence collection and witness and victim interview techniques with individuals with developmental disabilities. Prosecutors will learn from victims with developmental disabilities. |
