Program name: Healthy Start
Description : The LCDF - Healthy Start Program provides a broad range of social services for children, adolescents, women, men, and families. Services include: Prenatal and parenting case management, breastfeeding education and support, breast pumps, prenatal health education, adolescent family life interventions, smoking cessation and prevention, teen pregnancy prevention, life skills, anger management skills, child development education, nutrition education, diabetes prevention, and life style change education and support, and father and father figure involvement.

The program also provides education on car seat safety and when available will provide new car seat to participants enrolled in the program.
Hours of Operation: Monday-Friday 8am - 5pm and some evenings
Eligibility Requirements: Pregnant women (including teens), parenting families of babies ages zero to three, fathers and father figures, youth involved in high risk behaviors, individuals with the desire to stop using tobacco products, smokers.
Intake Procedure: Contact the Healthy Start Office and request to speak with Case Management Services Coordinator or Health Education Services Coordinator.
Insurance Information: None. Insured or uninsured are accepted in the program.
