Children's In-Home Respite Care Children's Out-of-Home Respite Care Respite Care Respite care is intended to provide relief to primary care givers of children with serious emotional disturbances, neurobiological and behavioral disorders. Services are provided in the family's home and in structured community settings. Respite is short-term care to assist families in reducing the stress and demand of caring for children with extensive needs.
