The Home Based Treatment Team and Mid-Level Family Preservation Service Programs are intended to provide voluntary services to families experiencing severe disturbance in their functioning that may affect the well-being and safety of their children, or be at risk of out-of-home placement. The goal of the programs is to strengthen and preserve the family unit. Services to be provided to these families in both programs will include (but are not limited to): therapeutic intervention, skill building (i.e. parenting, communication skills, anger management), advocacy and networking families with appropriate community services. |
