The Home Based Treatment Team provides parenting skills classes for CYFD referrals and for the community at large population. The parenting skills classes provide parents with knowledge of the developmental needs of their children and positive behavior management methods. The children are provided with knowledge to help them increase their self-esteem by engaging in age appropriate physical, social, and emotional activities. The Nurturing and Common Sense Parenting curriculum models are implemented in the parenting skills classes. |
