The Juvenile Drug Court is a youth prevention program that is designed to reduce recidivism and substance abuse among nonviolent substance abusing youth. It is overseen by the 3rd District Court, Public Defender, District Attorneys Office, Las Cruces Police Department, and Sheriff's Department. The program utilizes an intense court supervised treatment approach with random drug testing, surveillance, and the use of appropriate incentives and sanctions. The Drug Court Programs Purpose is to enhance community safety and restore our and their families to sober, healthy and productive lives. |
