The United Way Volunteer Center coordinates the recruitment of volunteers to provide services to over 200 non-profit agencies in southwest New Mexico. The United Way of Southwest New Mexico maintains software (Volunteer Solutions) which functions as a clearing house to matches volunteers to volunteer opportunities. Using the United Way web site, visitors can register as a volunteer and search for volunteer opportunities within the community. Agencies are able to enter information about their volunteer needs that allow them to provide the much need services to their clients. The software will also allow you to link to the organization that you are interested in volunteering for and learn more about them.
