Program name: Respite Care Financial Assistance Program
Description : The Respite Care Financial Assistance Program offers primary caregivers of persons with Alzheimer's Disease and related disorders an opportunity to receive needed respite care services. Respite is defined as a brief break or rest from the day to day duties of caregiving.

The program provides financial assistance and does not provide actual caregivers. It is the responsibility of the primary caregiver to secure care for the Alzheimer's patient.
Hours of Operation: Varies
Eligibility Requirements: The program is based solely on the fact that someone is a primary caregiver and needs assistance and can provide up to $300/calendar year.
Intake Procedure: Contact the Alzheimer's Association in Las Cruces at 575-647-3868 to request an application, or contact the Alzheimer's Association in Albuquerque at 505-266-4473 to request an application.
