Program name: Project Life Saver
Description : Project Life Saver is a safety program for individuals suffering from Alzheimer's Disease or other dementias who are at a high risk for wandering. The program, which utilizes a GPS tracking bracelet, is maintained by the DAC Sheriff's Department. The DAC Sheriff's Department does not charge for the bracelet, but suggests a $25 donation for battery maintenance.

Eligibility Requirements: Families where a family member suffers from Alzheimer's Disease or other dementia and is at a high risk for wandering.
Intake Procedure: Call the Alzheimer's Association who will arrange a meeting with the DAC Sheriff's Department.
