The YWCA Credit Counseling & Home Ownership Center offers confidential credit and budget counseling. We also evaluate readiness for home ownership and educate potential home buyers about the home buying process. Classes are offered at no charge during the day, evenings, and weekends in English and Spanish.
The Home of My Own Education is a series of classes and a one on one counseling session. You will receive a Certificate of Achievement when you have completed the education program for homeownership. A Home of My Own curriculum was developed by NMSU and is sponsored by the City of Las Cruces.
