As part of the single family home ownership service component pre-purchase counseling is the critical key to the low mortgage default record. Homebuyer clients are required to complete an average of 10 hours for pre-purchase education and training. After the home is purchased, Tierra del Sol staff provides post purchase counseling and homeownership training. |

Homebuyers clients are required to complete an average of 10 hours for pre-purchase education and training. At the completion of the required courses the home buyer education certificate will be given that meets the requirements for most lenders. |

The classes are designed to help home buyers on preparing for the purchase of a home and become knowledgable on down payment assistance programs. |
