"Ideas for Cooking and Nutrition" Nutritional information taught in ICAN classes will be based on USDA My Pyramid and Dietary Guidelines for Americans. All classes will be centered on food and nutrition themes, with parenting, resource management, and physical activity covered only as they relate directly to these two subjects. A special emphasis on job skills development in foods and nutrition fields will be incorporated in many classes. |
