Description : A. Our Caring Bridge Ministry

Caring Bridge for Adults - matches adults with a mental illness with caring trustworthy volunteers in a companion / peer relationship; a friendship. Volunteers also needed to help with transportation and assist in weekly social and educational activities at the Bridge.
Hours of Operation: Monday -Friday 9-5, and by appointment, Monday nights 6-9
Eligibility Requirements: Caring Bridge for Adults - matches adults with a mental illness with caring trustworthy volunteers in a companion / peer relationship; a friendship.
Intake Procedure: Consumers are self referred by completing a short questionnaire which can be mailed to them. Consumers are also referred by case managers or therapists. Volunteer can call 522-6404 and make an appointment for intake and training. Ask for Angela or David. Or email us at bridge@nmsu.edu
