Program name: Economic Self-Sufficiency Program
Description : The Economic Self-Sufficiency Program (ESS) offers local women the opportunity to learn new skills or use those that they already have to supplement their family's income. Currently, the Center trains and supports a Catering Team that creates excellent meals for on-site events. Participants in the Creative Learning Program also have opportunities to sell their hand-crafted products at the Center. Past ESS participants have also learned skills at the Center that enabled them to begin a floor tiling business and a massage therapy business. New ESS participants are generally trained by current participants, and the Center provides further support by offering training in business planning.

Directions:

 You can reach the Center by taking I-10 Exit 0 in Anthony, Texas. From the highway exit, go west on Antonio St. all the way into Anthony until you come to a stop light with Main St. At the stop light, turn right (north) on Main. Go four blocks to Lincoln and turn right again. The Center is at the corner of Second and Lincoln on your left. It’s across the street from St. Anthony’s Catholic Church.
