From the beginning, the development of individual potential has taken the form of inviting women participants to participate in decision-making regarding Center programs, classes, and future goals. A Valores Y Vida (values and life) class encourages self-esteem and communication skills. Leadership class teaches conflict resolution, facilitating meeting, planning, and related topics.
Four out of six current staff members initially came to the Center to participate in earning activities. (The Center receptionist came six years ago to begin learning English.)

You can reach the Center by taking I-10 Exit 0 in Anthony, Texas. From the highway exit, go west on Antonio St. all the way into Anthony until you come to a stop light with Main St. At the stop light, turn right (north) on Main. Go four blocks to Lincoln and turn right again. The Center is at the corner of Second and Lincoln on your left. It’s across the street from St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. |
