| Description : |
|
Farm and Ranch Heritage Museum brings learning to life for kids from kindergarten to high school through our many exciting educational offerings. A curriculum guide listing objectives for a variety of disciplines is one of our educational offerings. These are written for fourth-grade classrooms and middle school, but can be modified for third- or fifth-graders. Lessons are linked to New Mexico State Department of Education standards and benchmarks. Tours to the New Mexico Farm and Ranch Heritage Museum along with other educational offerings that foster curiosity and self-directed learning are available upon request. Students will benefit from opportunities to explore artifacts first-hand, develop relationships with our farm animals and watch our many demonstrations. |
