Volunteer Opportunity Details:
| Last updated on January 30, 2009 |
We have a large number of specially adapted toys for children with disabilities. We need a volunteer who loves kids and can repair battery operated toys. You could pick up a few toys at a time and try to repair them, then bring them back to us, or use our facilities and tools. Occasionally when we buy new toys we need someone to put adapters into them for remote switch access or place a pin jack into them. Ability to troubleshoot circuits would be a big plus. Watch and smile as dead toys come back to life in your hands.
Our facility is accessible to persons with a disability, but anyone young or old is encouraged to give us a try. If this is especially suited to your gifts, you know who you are! Friendly, quiet, low-key staff and atmosphere. Our hours are M-F 10AM-4:30 officially, but someone is here after 8:30AM. This opportunity is sponsored by: Idaho Center For Assistive Technology
We need volunteers who are free at these times
