Admission Attendant - You will greet arriving guests, count guests in cars, ring up amount on cash register, take payment, cash or credit, make change, provide receipt, and direct them to parking Greeters - Volunteers are stationed at Garden entrances to greet guests as they walk up from vehicles, handing out information, answering questions, and directing guests as needed. Refreshment Attendant - Enjoy the warmth of the refreshment tent serving hot cider, hot cocoa, and cookies. These volunteers also replenish cookie supply from cottage, and let the “cook” know when more cocoa and cider are needed, and monitor the donation jars. (6 needed, including a “cook”.) Garden Outreach Table - Volunteers staff Garden membership table in refreshment tent greeting guests and encouraging people to become a Garden member, as well as offering general information about the Garden including education and horticulture programs, private use of the Garden, and upcoming events. Current Garden members preferred for this role! (2 needed.) Garden Store Clerk - Be a retailer for a night! Run the Garden Store including welcoming guests, selling store merchandise using cash register, and working with the Staff Manager to close out register and Store for the evening. Grounds Monitor - Primary role is to be a Garden presence during the event, monitoring crowd behavior for the safety and enjoyment of all, while also tending fire barrels, including loading firewood into wheelbarrows, transporting to barrels, and continuously checking them through the evening, adding wood as needed. General Support and Reliever - The one who is willing to step in wherever the need is- this volunteer is the “glue” for the evening, jobs will include transporting hot cider and cocoa to the refreshment tent, bringing refreshments to volunteers and stepping in to help as needed throughout the evening.
