Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Provide companionship and joy to the lives of terminally ill hospice patients. Commit to at least 1 hr a week visiting assigned patient(s). With a certified animal, you and your animal visit Hospice patients in their homes, or at an Assisted Living Facility or a Nursing Home. Certification of animal/handler with Approved Organization. Current on shots and all other required health checks.
Complete new volunteer orientation 4-6 hrs. Be able to pass background check and a negative TB test and complete required paperwork.
