A child walks into the Club and is enthusiastically greeted by all the adults in the building. High-fives, a secret handshake, a point made to tell the child they look happy today. Any of these things help make a child feel welcome at a Boys & Girls Club. Playing a game of pool and talking about the days events, reading a story together, helping braid hair, work on editing the next great movie of our generation, one never knows what can spark greatness in a child. Volunteering at the Club is fun for everyone, take a chance and get involved today! Complete a volunteer application and criminal background check. Applications available on line. On I-84, take the Meridian exit and head north on main street. There is a street light on the corner of Main and Pine, take a right. The new Boys and Girls Club site is on the corner of Meridian and Pine, just in front of Meridian Elementary school. Park in the lot and come on in.

Those Children Touched My Heart and Made Me Smlie

I began volounterring there completly by chance. i was actually looking for a summer job and i ended up volounteering there. i sepent every day this summer there the most i oculd. i learned so much form those children and they tought me so much about myself that i never could have imagined. i changed that summmer. and i hope to return to meridian and see everyone.
