We are recruiting individuals who are interested in tutoring students in the school setting. Reading and math tutors are always needed. What a great opportunity to positively impact a child's life! We are recruiting now for the 2009-2010 school year. The relationship you form with a child may be the key to that child's success. This is a great way to spend a lunch hour once a week, once a month, or even more often.
Training and criminal background checks are required. Communities In Schools will conduct the training and provide you with a handbook with even more tips than are provided during the training session.

We are located on William Street in the block north of Ash Street. We are housed in the Wayne County Chamber of Commerce building at 308 N. William Street (behind Wachovia Bank and across from Employment Security Commission). Our office is upstairs. Volunteers are always welcome!
