Welcome to Volunteer Wayne's Board Connections! Volunteer Wayne has created this web-based service to help you find the right board opportunity that meets your needs and interests.

Board Connection is a service offered by Volunteer Wayne to help strengthen organizations by developing the effectiveness of their board and to support community minded individuals who are hoping to find meaningful avenues of service.

Serving on a board is a great way to develop leadership skills, share your professional expertise and feel more involved with your community. Serving as a board member can be tremendously rewarding. Board service requires consideration of both personal goals and an organizaiton's needs. This is a great way to learn more how an organization operates as well as what it is doing to help inprove the community.

If you've ever thought about volunteering in a leadership capacity, Volunteer Wayne's Board Connections program can help get you started.

The Board Connections process is simple:

Complete a volunteer profile form that provides us with information about your skills and interest.
We provide you with a list of agencies that fall with in your areas of interest and you select those you are most interested in pursuing.
We have the agencies you've selected contact you to provide specific information about their programs, services and expectations.
You decide where you'd like to volunteer.
