The Wayne County Association of Volunteer Administrators and Volunteer Wayne/RSVP will be hosting a community-wide event to recognize the contributions of volunteers in the Wayne County area. In conjunction with the Points of Light Foundation, the "Celebrate Volunteers-The Spirit of America" Celebration will be held on Friday, May 2,2003 at Wayne Community College.This nationwide celebration will give Wayne County the opportunity to recognize our local volunteers for their outstanding service to the community.
Faye Stone from the North Carolina Commission on Volunteerism will be our guess speaker.
