United Way of Wayne County, the County of Wayne, the City of Goldsboro, and Volunteer Wayne/RSVP are partnering once again for the 2006 Days of Caring in Wayne County. This hands-on opportuity to make a difference in our community is being held in Septermber this year to create a stronger more unified, community-wide event. We aim to showcase all the good works accomplished by United Way agencies and invite other non-profit agencies in Wayne County to participate. We ask that everyone across Wayne Count put their own cares on hold for one day during September 8-16, and work together to improve the lives of others in our community. Join us for the Kick off to the Days of Caring on September 8 at 8:30 at the Wayne County Courthouse. More details will follow. |
