OPERATION NOVEMBER RAIN
On Saturday, November 18th, Wayne County’s annual flu vaccination will exercise the mobilization of medical and other non-medical support personnel in the event of an emergency, while accomplishing the vaccination of individuals in preparation of the coming flu season.
The time of the mass vaccination is from 8-3, with set–up at 7 a.m. and take down until 4 p.m. Volunteer for just a few hours or all day. There are many positions available, from assisting with parking, greeting, registration, security, and vaccination. Some tasks will require medical credentials.
To participate, complete the Volunteer Recruitment Form which is available through Volunteer Wayne/RSVP or the Health Department.’s Bioterrorism/Preparedness Coordinator:
