Youth and Adults Volunteering Together On May 5, 2007 youth and adults will come together to create new and better relationships by working as a team within their own community. Here are some ideas to help you plan your project. Don't forget to share photos and stories of your activity with Volunteer Wayne/RSVP! Serve meals at a homeless shelter Remove graffiti from a building and paint a mural Make a public space handicap accessible Build a playground Participate in a neighborhood watch Bring meals to homebound neighbors Run a day camp for children with working parents Register bone marrow and organ donors Teach seniors how to surf the Internet Devise craft projects for children in the hospital Help elderly neighbors with chores or errands Register as a volunteer with Volunteer Wayne/RSVP to help in the event of a disaster.
