Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Last updated on June 19, 2009

Volunteers are the stars that help fulfill our mission of providing exceptional learning and fun opportunities for children and families. If you love working with children and have a special skill to offer or just an interest in what we do-then the Imagine Nation Museum is a great place to VOLUNTEER.

Our Volunteer Program includes adults, teens, college students, teams from corporations, scouts, and families. The museum is a great place to complete service learning hours for school and church.
We offer many different opportunities for volunteers to make a difference in the lives of children. We offer one time volunteer opportunities, and ongoing assignments. Volunteers are needed during museum hours of operation that include weekdays and weekends. To accomodate the needs of our volunteers we work around your schedule to provide you with flexible options.

Jobs would include providing hands-on volunteering working directly on the floor of the museum providing assistance on exhibits, or events and programs. Other opportunities include helping with clerical duties, light maintenance, and program preparation.

.

We require our volunteers to be at a minimum of 12 years old. We encourage families to help make a difference in their community by spending time together volunteering. Volunteers must enjoy children and working with people of all ages. Each volunteer is required to complete an application and attend a brief volunteer training session. To meet the varied needs of our volunteers we offer flexible scheduling.
