Volunteer Opportunity Details:

The Red Cross is the nation's largest supplier of blood in the United States. Here in Connecticut, the Red Cross is the sole provider of blood to hospitals. You can help save a life by assisting blood donors at blood drives. Welcome them, serve refreshments after donation. (Working with blood is NOT a volunteer responsibility.) If you have a cheerful disposition and enjoy working with people, this is a great volunteer opportunity for you. Volunteer once a week, or once a month, according to YOUR schedule. Great opportunity for individuals, or volunteer with a partner, friend or small group.

Opportunities are available weekdays and/or weekends - you choose the dates and locations at your convenience. Training will be provided. All Red Cross volunteers must have a volunteer interview and orientation to be registered with us. Students Please Note: Minimum age is 16 years. Must Commit to a Minimum of 5 Blood Drives. Help us save a life!
