YWCA of Billings
The YWCA of Billings is in the business of providing support services that empower women, children and families; that affirm the uniqueness of individuals; and that include those frequently disenfranchised. Our common vision is Peace, Justice, Freedom and Dignity for all people.
Description:
We provide five programs to meet the needs of our community. In Children's Services we provide quality care and a first educational experience to over 150 children each year. In our Domestic Violence program, we are able give shelter to hundreds of women and children from Yellowstone and surrounding counties at our Gateway House. Sexual Assault Services Program accompanies approximately 80 rape victims to the hospital each year and provides support for survivors and their families. Our Employment and Training Center assists approximately 170 individuals each year to overcome barriers to employment and obtain quality jobs. 62 adults with developmental disabilities are provided support and assistance through our Supported Living Program, allowing them to live independently in the community.
