Seeking fun-loving volunteers - young and old alike - who are willing to spend the summer providing enrichment activities for children with disabilities. Volunteers help provide the recreational activities of summer day camp for youth with all types of disabilities. Other activities include arts and crafts, games, sports, field trips, quiet play, and group projects. The Eagle Mount summer youth daycamp is held at the Headstart Building during June, July and August. This is a very active group and always on the move about the community. Help provide program activities and outings.
Peer volunteers ages 12 and older** are needed to ensure each youth with disabilities enjoy a fun and safe summer.This commitment can range from 3 - 12 weeks, with hours varying from 20 - 24 hours weekly. ** Due to our insurance liability restrictions all volunteers must now be at least 12 years of age.
