Enjoy general office work...come join the team as a volunteer to assist the Cancer Resource Center in different opportunities. Volunteers will be responsible for guiding cancer patients, families and/or caregivers with cancer-related information and referrals to local, state and/or federal resources including American Cancer Society programs and services. Other duties include greeting visitors; updating website; answering phones, and preparing and editing newsletter. Hours for this volunteer opportunity are 4 hours per week between the hours of 9:00 am and 4:00 pm. Training for this position includes 6-8 hours of class training and 4 hours on-hand training.
