Volunteer Client Advocates Needed ![]() Volunteer Opportunity Details:
Volunteer client advocates are needed for Care Net Women's Clinic in the Heights and Care Net of Billings on the West End. Client Advocates are the main contact that our clients have with the agency and provide one on one counseling, information and support to women facing unplanned pregnancies. Client Advocates lead clients through the various programs of the organization including the Earn While You Learn Program. This program helps women who have decided to parent to improve their parenting skills and provide materially for their children at the same time. Another key service we offer is the Sexual Integrity Program, helping women to assess and improve their sexual decision-making. Volunteer client advocates go through an application process which includes an application form, 3 references, background check and compliance with statements of mission, principle and faith. After an interview, applicants may or may not be invited to participate in 18-20 hour training course. Once training has been completed client advocates are asked to commit to one 4hr. shift once a week for at least one year. Client advocates are also expected to attend periodic meetings and in-service trainings. ![]() This opportunity is sponsored by: Care Net Women's Clinic
