We are always looking for volunteers who want to make a positive difference in the life of a child. We are especially in need of male volunteers. Our one-to-one mentoring has a significant impact in the lives of the youth we serve. Research consistently demonstrates that Big Brothers Big Sisters' mentoring helps at-risk youth overcome the many challenges they face. The most compelling evidence was found by Public/Private Ventures (P/PV), showing that Little Brothers and Little Sisters are:

46% less likely to begin using illegal drugs
27% less likely to begin using alcohol
52% less likely to skip school
37% less likely to skip class
more confident in their school work performance
able to get along better with their families.

We have an interview process which includes a background check. Volunteers need to be at least 18 years of age. We ask that you commit to giving at least 1-2 hours a week to your Little.

We are located on the South side of 6th Avenue North. We are one block West of Head Start. Drive West on 6th Avenue North and turn south on North 20th. Or drive East on 4th Avenue North and turn North on North 20th. We are behind the new car wash and Koffee Kabin.
