Friday , November 27, 2009:

Need volunteers to help with the staging of the Holiday Parade on November 27th. The volunteer will be a block captain and help the parade participants find their starting space. to me this is the best place to be for the parade.

The Festival of Trees is a holiday event put on by the Family Tree Center that supports the prevention of child abuse and neglect in our community. YVC members will be helping in the children's activity area with games and face painting and lunch will be provided.

YVC members will make a mural inspired by the teachings of Martin Luther King Jr. that will be displayed at the University. We will also be developing a service project proposal.
