California Building Performance Contractors Association
CBPCA teaches the contractors of California Home Performance; how to identify, diagnose, analyze, and perform quality energy efficiency improvements to residential buildings that increase homeowner’s comfort and indoor air quality while lowering their energy bills.
Description:
Residential buildings in the United States emit as much Greenhouse gases as all of our transportation sectors combined. Although it's not as exciting as solar, solar will not eliminate that drafty room or poor indoor air quality. We can. Our contractors can save homeowners 20%-80% in their energy costs. As a trade association, CBPCA supplies marketing support, homeowner referrals, and continuing education programs to its members.
History:
The California Building Performance Contractor Association is a non-profit trade association that was formed in 2001. Over the years, hundreds of contractors, consultants, architects, appraisers and other professionals have learned how to look at the house as a whole system.
