The National Senior Games Association promotes healthy aging in men and women over 50 through education, fitness and sport. The Senior Games encourage the participants to stay active and to continue to accept challenges, both physically and mentally.

Description:
The Summer National Senior Games is making its California debut August 1-15, 2009. The Summer National Senior Games, the largest multi-sport event in the world for men and women athletes age 50 and over is coming to Stanford University and the Bay Area. More than 10,000 athletes from all 50 states will be competing in 25 sports at this Historic event!
