Berkeley Chamber Performances is committed to presenting intimate chamber music concerts to the East Bay community by programming a diverse range of musical styles and musical ensembles that often expand the boundaries of chamber music.

Description:
We have featured several international, national, western states and Bay Area premieres. We provide emerging and established professional, mostly local, musical ensembles with the opportunity to perform standard, contemporary and newly commissioned works as well as jazz and world music. Also each event offers a post-concert “meet the musicians” reception.

History:
Berkeley Chamber Performances has presented a full season of intimate chamber music concerts every year since 1993 in our original home, the Berkeley City Club, a Julia Morgan-designed building listed on the National register of Historic Places, adding another layer of cultural significance to our programming. We were designated as a 501c3 non-profit corporation in 1997.
