Jewish Gateways
Logo

Jewish Gateways enables Jews, their family members, and others to explore Jewish possibilities in ways that address their needs. We serve as an open gateway into Jewish life, offering inclusive Jewish experiences, learning, and connections. Jewish Gateways empowers participants to find Jewish options that work for them, including Jewish cultural connections, Jewish learning, home observance, synagogue membership, and social justice work from a Jewish perspective. Jewish Gateways is pluralistic and supports exploration of and connection with many forms of Judaism and Jewish life.

Description:
Jewish Gateways reaches out to Jews, their families, and all who want to explore Jewish identity and connect to Jewish life and community. We welcome you for Shabbat dinners and holiday celebrations, celebrations for families with young children, Jewish coaching, My Jewish Journey groups, Community Connections, and more.

History:
Rabbi Bridget Wynne is the founder and director of Jewish Gateways. She was ordained in 1994 after attending rabbinic school in Jerusalem, Los Angeles, and Cincinnati. Rabbi Wynne was rabbi of Congregation Shir Shalom of Sonoma, and before that was Associate Rabbi of Leo Baeck Temple in Los Angeles. She was a community organizer in the San Francisco Bay Area prior to entering the rabbinate, and was motivated in this work by her Jewish background and its focus on "tikkun olam," repairing and transforming our world.
