Doctors Medical Center Service League
Our mission is to serve the patients of Doctors Medical Center with the best of our ability. It is also part of our goal to raise funds to help the hospital to better serve the community.
Description:
The Doctors Medical Center Service League is composed of 90 senior volunteers and 24 juniors. Activities include: escort, gift shop, front desk, menus, telecare, new beginnings, cancer center, and E.R., among others. All the funds raised by the gift shop are used to help the hospital buying equipments, wheelchairs or anything else they need.
History:
Doctors Medical Center was found 50 years ago to serve the community of San Pablo and surrounding cities. Through the years, the administration of the hospital has added to the facilities a Burn Center, a HBO Department, a Cancer Center wing along with upgrading the departments. The future plan is for a Trauma Center to serve the community even better.
