We help our communities prepare for the coming challenges and opportunities of a rapidly aging population; health awareness of chronic illness and the need for intervention programs at all levels.

Description:
Our purpose is to raise the health, economic, educational, social and cultural levels of underserved residents of the Latino and other underserved communities in Contra Costa County which have substantial unemployment, poor or no health care, or are low-income families. TODOS UNIDOS fosters and promotes community-wide interest and concern for the problems of such community to the end that (a) racial/ethnic tensions, prejudice and discrimination, economic and otherwise, may be eliminated; (b) sickness, poverty and crime may be lessened; and (c) cultural, educational, and economic opportunities including citizenship, home and business ownership may be expanded among the residents of such communities.

History:
TODOS UNIDOS has been in operation nearly three years. Our funding is from various government and non governmental organizations.
